Schumacher Company has developed a unique Sulfamate Nickel based process Corr-Wear™. Basic Sulfamate Nickel deposits are only 22-26RC Hardness as plated. Our proprietary Corr-Wear™ process is 48-52 RC Hardness as plated with the same great corrosion protection as standard Sulfamate Nickel deposits.

Our Corr-Wear process is a Compressively stressed hard Nickel deposit with high tensile strength and much better wear and abrasion protection than standard Sulfamate Nickel deposits. A very high plating efficiency allows closer plating tolerance thickness control. Schumacher Company has large capabilities and can apply our Corr-Wear process to O.D. and I.D. components.
